Summary Assists the Site Operations Manager in overseeing a team executing a high level of customer care for a significant account within the assigned regions and will drive the Leadership Engagement Growth & Safety (LEGS) strategy of the Company.
The Shift Supervisor oversees all daily operations with the management staff in direct responsibility for operations, quality, safety and account management, and will assist in managing and developing the manufacturing team.
Core Responsibilities Builds a strong and safe culture and working environment for direct reports Maintain goal of units completed per day/week via reporting Ensure all site staff receive training on tool and welding safety and proper product repair procedures Supervises and coordinates activities of workers at multiple departments engaged in product repair services Assigns Product Repair work to employees, following material, work, and safety requirements Inspects work performed by employees to ensure quality is up to specifications and established standards Maintain effective working relationships with Site Operations Manager and all team members.
Foster long-term relationships with previous employees and potential applicants demonstrating the core values of Marsden Services Confers with, trains and coaches’ staff to resolve production and partners with HR regarding personnel problems Coaches, creates, delivers and records personnel corrections notices and performance improvement plan per company policy partnering with Human Resources Secondary Responsibilities Verify time punches against daily scheduled attendance then send to finance to timely submittal to payroll Submit incident reports in a timely manor per company policy and follow up as appropriate Manage warehouse services by ensuring operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled and filing systems are designed and implemented Partner with site administration to ensure clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored Commits to behave in compliance with the company’s values and Code of Conduct Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made Ensures one's own compliance with the company's published Operations Standards Business Conduct Commits to behave in compliance with the company’s values and Code of Conduct.

Financial Responsibilities Supervisory Responsibility Requirements •You must be 18 years old.
•A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
•Experience working with tools and spot welding preferred, but not required •Be comfortable in a busy warehouse setting.
•Be comfortable working at variable temperatures.
•At least 2 years of Supervisory Experience preferred •Bilingual preferred but not required •Former warehouse experience preferred but not required •Previous construction and/or trucking/distribution center experience preferred but not required •Forklift operator experience preferred but not required Additional Eligibility Qualifications Valid Driver’s License, vehicle and proof of automobile insurance is not required.
Physical Requirements Regularly required to walk; stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with arms; and, talk or hear Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision Occasional, represents 1 to 33% or 1-2 hours of an 8 hour work day.
Frequently, represents 34 to 66% or 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours of an 8 hour work day.
Regularly, represents 67 to 100% or 6 to 8 hours of an 8 hour work day.
