This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory and transfers of inventory.
Responsible for ordering inventory, returning excess inventory, processing warranty returns, and maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse.
The warehouse manager may be called upon for general maintenance of the facility as well as assisting with the movement of office equipment and files.
Functional Areas of Accountability Complete cycle counts on product lines weekly or as determined necessary by GM.
Participating in a daily huddle, weekly Warehouse Lead review, and various meetings to update our management team.
Defining KPI’s for the Warehouse Lead functions and reporting weekly/monthly as requested.
All daily Warehouse Manager transactions into software, to produce timely, accurate, inventory and warehouse reports.
Maintain proper stock on all vehicles.
Utilize daily replenishment as a model.
Maintain all stock in warehouses to be accurate within 3% or less.
Negotiate with vendor all part prices to maintain materials costs to reach the desired KPI (30% or less cost margin).
Maintain a proper return/warranty goods and credits system – to be collected and accurate within the current month for cash flow and accountability.
Establish a Min-Max Quantities for each catalogue number in company inventory.
Correct seasonal stock indicators – min max quantities.
Adjust seasonally.
All vendor orders and PO’s being kept accurate and up to date.
Communication with all Vendors on accuracy of purchase orders.
Assist in offloading and loading shipment packages from and onto delivery trucks.
Manage the Fleet maintenance systems – logs-proper timing/oil changes etc.
Receive goods and ensure that they correlate to the accompanying delivery documents.
Prepare goods to be shipped out along with appropriate paperwork.
Receive work orders from supervisor in locating items in storage areas.
Determine that received goods are stored in their correct storage areas.
Take inventory of stored goods – count and record number of items received and sent out.
Label each item in accordance to labeling guides provided by the company.
Take and fill requests for returning or replacing items & office goods.
Restock returned items in their designated storage areas and update inventory information accordingly.
Perform general maintenance throughout buildings.
Load install trucks for next day jobs.
Staging installs and work order parts for assigned jobs.
Cycle count trucks quarterly.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications: High school or GED diploma Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers instruction and to clearly communicate with team members, clients, and vendors Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs and backlog constraints.
EPA 608 Type II Certification (Need to obtain within 60 days) Familiarity with the following computer software programs: Excel, Order Entry Software and Microsoft.
Physical ability to perform all the duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and weather extremes found in the Arizona.
Examples include the ability to lift and carry a 75 lb.
load (of the size and shape of an item encountered on an HVACR job) a distance of 75'; carry a 75 lb.
motor up a fully extended 18' ladder.
Must not have a fear of heights (acrophobia).
Interest and initiative to develop his or her HVACR skills through a combination of formal schooling, company training, self-study, manufacturers' workshops and other professional development activities.
Current Arizona drivers license and the ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet.
Must be insurable by current Green Valley Cooling & Heating's insurance carrier.
