As a member of the clinical leadership team, the Clinical Supervisor is a vital part of communication across teams, ensuring positive interactions with, and representation of, the Executive Leadership Team in decisions that support agency growth and development.
*This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus after the successful completion of 90 days of employment.
* *ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES* · In partnership with other program supervisors, ensures that best practice treatment services are utilized.
· Provides timely and accurate supervision reports, as required by agency and licensing standards.
· Ensures that treatment standards are met as specified in contracts or special grants and agency protocols in terms of timeliness of service, number and duration of services, and timelines of paperwork and report completion.
· Provides direct trauma-focused treatment that is specific to the client’s identified treatment needs through individual, family, or group therapy.
· Provides client advocacy and assistance when needed.
· Performs full cycle of psychotherapy and other therapeutic services including but not limited to psychosocial assessments, completion of other clinical assessments and evaluation tools, development of treatment plans, progress notes, crisis plans, and discharge planning.
· Adheres to agency protocols, legal and contract requirements, and professional standards.
· Completes and maintains thorough entries in the clients’ electronic health record.
· Maintains case records according to agency protocols and contract requirements.
· Refers clients to other resources when needed.
*WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY* This position often works weekdays.
Some flexibility in scheduling exists, as long as agency needs are being adequately addressed.
*COMMUNICATION AND INTERFACE* · Engage in respectful and ongoing communication and problem solving with others.
· Act as a positive and professional ambassador for the Agency both internally and in the greater community.
· Collaborate and consult with other staff members and participate in supervision on therapeutic practices and case presentation.
· Coordinate and collaborate with outside agencies and services when needed as part of the client’s therapy and treatment planning.
· Establish positive therapeutic relationships with clients.
· Deliver high quality service in a wide range of situations.
· Adherence to highest ethical standards.
· Ability to work with and engage in service with difficult and/or ambivalent individuals and families.
*PROBLEM SOLVING AND JUDGEMENT* · Excellent ability to analyze data and identify trends.
· Follow established procedures while being creative and taking initiative.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Take all practical steps to ensure a work environment that is safe, friendly, helpful and free from harassment or bullying.
· Must be able to handle all facets of the business both standard and non-standard situations.
*SUPERVISION OF SUBORDINATES* · Directly responsible for supervision of clinicians and interns.
· Provide high quality clinical supervision to associate licensed supervisees to comply with board requirements for independent licensure.
· Set performance standards and monitor performance.
· Document potential concerns involving performance, discrimination, and/or harassment.
· Implement performance improvement plan(s) and/or corrective action when appropriate.
· As part of the annual performance evaluation process, timely evaluate the results of each subordinate with written assessments, based upon established goals and responsibilities.
*REQUIREMENTS* · Master’s degree in behavioral health · Licensed in the State of Arizona at an independent level, in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AzBBHE) · Must be an approved Clinical Supervisor through the AzBBHE and remain in compliance with all Board requirements · Ability to obtain a level 1 fingerprint clearance card, and pass a background check.
