Yard Supervisor

DUTIES: -Oversee yard activities, including inventory control, receiving, and shipping - Possess mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Create and manage detailed list of all equipment that is checked out of the office on a daily basis - Build new service trucks with per determined layouts.
This involves mounting new shelving, Minor electrical for power on wenches, trailer hook ups and lighting, Metal and welding for a couple custom shelves and adding tow hitches - Inventory and maintain current stock and equipment on all service trucks - Maintain a current and running inventory of parts in yard sheds - Every Wednesday distribute parts back to service techs from weekly order EXPERIENCE: -Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role -Previous experience welding and metal working -Previous experience with small tool repair -Previous experience in maintaining equipment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
