Job Summary: An excellent opportunity exists within the Material Estimating Organization as a Manager Estimating and Pricing.
The estimating organization is responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts.
In addition, the Estimating Organization supports gate reviews, government audits, and negotiations with the customer.
This position is a hybrid role for the Tucson location, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Responsibilities to Anticipate: Proactively manage/support all material estimating activities, across assigned programs, in excess of $1.
0B in material proposed annually Develop creative strategic approaches to product pricing with an emphasis on affordability (ensures approach is consistent with affordability targets and adequately described in proposals) Proactively communicate priorities/requirements to Program, Contracts, and SCM Directors (as appropriate to ensure alignment and the overall proposal process is efficient and functional inputs are timely) Continuously assess current and future proposal requirements to ensure resources are available Deploy and rebalance team as needed to ensure all program proposal needs are adequately supported Independently ensure compliance with FAR and internal estimating requirements (primarily FAR 15.
408, Table 15-2) Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance and other appropriate supporting duties to direct reports Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) The ability to obtain and maintain a U.

Additional Information: Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
