Responsibilities: Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses.
PVBH is an 84 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency.
PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare.
Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.
The EVS Manager provides daily housekeeping oversight to ensure that patient rooms, offices and public areas, are being cleaned and meet UHS standard’s, while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
The EVS Manager is responsible for ordering cleaning chemicals, Linen, and supplies for housekeeping.
Works with vendors to ensure costs saving measure are being meet all with company standards.
Supervisor is also responsible for staff schedule and monthly budgets.
Responsible for hiring and coaching of all staff within department.
Will manage housekeeping staff to ensure building and grounds are cleaned and quality standards are meeting company expectations.
Qualifications: Qualifications Education: High School graduate or GED.
Some college preferred Experience: One-Three years in the housekeeping field.
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
May be required to work overtime and flexible hours including weekends as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must be certified in CPR upon hire and bi-annually thereafter and must possess or obtain and be able to perform Handle With Care within 30 days of hire and re-certify as needed.
Must complete all required mandatory in-services annually.
Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain.
Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire and as required thereafter.
