Warehouse Manager
Duties:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manage transportation activities, including coordinating shipments and optimizing routes
- Implement fleet management systems to monitor vehicle maintenance and fuel efficiency
- Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations, including labor, equipment, and supplies
- Implement and maintain a warehouse management system to streamline processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles to drive operational excellence
- Oversee the procurement of materials and supplies for the warehouse
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluations, and development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of distribution center operations and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of lean principles and experience implementing process improvements
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
