Responsibilities:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives with the developers
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner to meet top line schedules
- Prepare budgets by project based on the scope of work and identify resource requirements with developers
-Establish when new resources must be added to maintain schedules/cost to customers and request resources timely, so they are up and running to minimize impact on the overall schedule
- Track project costs and customer deliverables in order to meet budget and keep an updated status
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and published work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, recommend adjustments, and update progress
- Manage contacts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Monitor daily progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement in both process and cost
- Should have worked on agile methodology and scrum methodology.
*Qualifications for Project Manager*
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field or significant experience in the management of software development
- Minimum 5-7 years of project management and related experience in IT Company preferably with IoT technology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Proven ability to solve problems and think creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Experience working with offshore resources
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
-Experience with Jira Work Management preferred but not required
