CFO Worx, a fractional CFO service, our team caters to small and mid-size businesses across the US, offering services such as CFO, M&A support, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting/financial modeling.
Our client is both a real-estate investment management and an asset management of private Latin American investors.
This is an in-person position in Tucson, AZ.
The hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday-Friday, with an hour for lunch.
This is a Contract 1099, flat monthly rate for set hours of work, long term engagement.
Strategy & Planning
* Develop budget and forecast across the business.
Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.
* Identify and implement systems critical financial and operational systems.
* Communicate with Board of Directors, CEO, COO
* Work with outsourced CPA firm, audit firm, and investors.
* Supervise 3-person accounting staff.
* Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team.
FP&A
* Prepare and present monthly financial reports.
* Manage financial planning and analysis department.
Supervise creation of reports, software implementation and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
* Participate in weekly conference calls with Lenders, Vendors and Executive Leadership Team.
Accounting
* Supervise the accounting department in all functions
* Enforce appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.
* Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.
* Oversee the month-end close process
Finance
* Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
* Oversee cash, investments, and asset management area.
* Manage banking relationships
* Represent company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors, and officials.
Cash Management
* Oversee weekly cash management and AP Department, approve large payables, sign checks, authorize large wires and ACHs
* Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Position Requirements
* CPA or MBA required
* Real-estate or Property Management experience strongly preferred.
* Audit experience preferred.
* Strong preference for bilingual – English/Spanish
* Excellent proficiency with excel is a requirement – lots of excel is used for this business
* ResMan property management software – not required but preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $160,000.
