Job Summary: Tucson Missile Integration and Test Facility (ITF) Production Control Lead (PC Lead) is responsible for managing the production control process through one or more phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production and depot activities.
The PC Lead proactively performs tasks without supervision reporting to both Value Stream Managers and functional Section Managers.
The PC Lead provides leadership and technical expertise in finding solutions to a variety of technical problems encountered in production.
The PC Lead provides oversight and mentorship to employees within a production factory.
In addition to management responsibilities, the individual will also provide coordination with overseas partners and Tucson factories.
Responsibilities To Anticipate: Facilitating department safety compliance and initiatives.
Providing oversight, mentorship, and leadership for responsible employees.
Leading focused work groups to tactical and strategic solutions.
Coordinating material movement between warehouse, production areas, and overseas partners.
Prioritizing own, and team members, work in process and coordinate with appropriate functional areas to resolve any material shortages.
Ensuring the proper analysis of inventory balances, usage, scrap, and shrinkage, and coordinate appropriate action (reconciliation worksheets).
Leading root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings to management.
Analyzing numerous reports to ensure the maintenance of MRP data integrity.
Advising upper management of the status of any issues as they arise.
Analyzing inventory levels, inventory positioning, planned production and sales forecasts.
Coordinating with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods.
Developing and maintaining inputs to computerized inventory system PRISM.
Coordinating liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand.
Initiates immediate actions in out-of-stock situations.
Continual maintenance and improvement of organization and facility presentation, which includes constant audit preparedness.
Interacting daily with technical support groups to maintain organizational goals and objectives.
Knowledge of PRISM and troubleshooting front-line shop floor issues.
Facilitating employee engagement.
Ensure the weekly Energetics report is complete, uploaded in eroom, and any concerns / issues are addressed Understanding and compliance with ITF Energetics’ requirements.
Planner / Stores OPM’s Ensure the PC metrics are worked and any concerns / issues / barriers are addressed.
Facilitating All WIPS activities and tasks… i.

mandatory cycle counts, mandatory stores audits Maintain WIPS Attendance / Discipline OT records Maintain ALL training requirements for WIPS / Planners POC for all Audits pertaining to Stores and Planner functions / responsibility.
POC for all Magazine Audits to include DEPOT / DCMA / AA&E Arms Ammunition & Explosives POC Open/Close building access and closed-area ownership Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
