Sailing Cataman Leilani, a 2004 Leopard 42, is US documented, and is the highly desirable, 3-cabin (owner’s version), designed by the renowned Roberson and Caine team and built in South Africa.
Leopards of this vintage were most commonly delivered to the US under their own sail.
This vessel has never been chartered and has sailed widely, including the East coast US, Bahamas, Mexico, and Central America.
Leilani is well-equipped for reliable and self-sufficient off-grid coastal and blue water cruising with such amenities as 1100+ w solar power, 840 Ah battery capacity, 12 V water maker, and 6 Kw diesel generator.

After Covid restrictions eased (1 year later), the owners crossed the Panama Canal to the Pacific and cruised up the coast to Costa Rica and then Mexico.
