I've been riding it for the past 2 years.
It is quick! It is a great bike.
Low 15K miles.
I bought it from an insurance auction, so it had a salvage title.
But damage was very slight – dead battery, broken mirror, broken/missing turn signals, & bent shifter.
NO sheet metal damage! I would guess it was dropped on the left side.
I think insurance companies auction off lightly damaged bikes for other reasons besides damage - like owner not settling claim, repossession, vandalism, hidden damage risk, etc.
I guess being a DIYer can be the difference with respect to brand name dealer labor repair costs.
So after I completed the repairs, ADOT issued a “Restored Salvage” title when I registered it for the road.
I included a couple of photos of the bike as I purchased it (last 4 outdoor pics), so you can see there was zero serious damage.
I thought I needed to include this info to be 100% transparent and answer any questions.
