Scratching posts ASAP (Tucson)

We rescued 2 feral kittens from our back yard and have been taking care of them.
Their several months old now, and though we have never owned any cats, they are now our pets.
But their furniture scratching skills are causing us problems.
We cannot afford scratching posts.
If anybody has some you no longer need, this is a gift that would be greatly appreciated.
We are retirees, and on very limited SS cks.
