Position Highlights This position in the Department of Surgery is responsible for administering and managing the academic administrative matters such as registration, room and course scheduling, class schedules, course catalog, and Teacher Course Evaluations for the Bachelor of Science - Medical Devices program.
This position serves as a resource to BS in Medical Device Program students, and works alongside of staff and faculty to ensure the academic program operates appropriately.

Duties & Responsibilities
Work with leadership to schedule, maintain, and update the courses across all sessions/semester.
Monitor and assess enrollments in all undergraduate courses taught by departmental faculty, and create various reports for enrollment.
Maintain wait lists for those courses in which demand exceeds availability.
Create new sections of independent study courses in UAccess for approximately 90-100 students per semester.
Perform administrative tasks related to the daily operations of academic programs, including administering needs assessments for program development, and updating the curriculum guide, 4-year plan, and application to the major.
Provide teaching load reports and number of majors and pre-majors each semester for Department Administration.
Monitor the academic progress of students and performs degree audits and degree posting.
Support the program by ordering the Teacher Course Evaluations for all undergraduate courses and providing input by creating custom questions for team taught courses.
Updated and maintain database for course enrollment history and career of alumni.
Maintain the list serves to communicate career opportunities to undergraduate students.
Post updated information and volunteer opportunities through social media.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
Three (3) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications * Experience with student enrollment processes within a higher-ed institution.
* Experience coordinating an academic program.
