Hello,
I am looking for a person to serve as a backup supervisor in my Adult Foster Care Home when I need to be gone for short periods of time.
I cannot leave my clients alone while I am gone, currently I have 3 senior ladies.
(I will never have more than 3) The job includes- being at my home and supervising their daily routines, taking meds, chores etc.
The clients have behavioral health issues, no disabilities and no physical help needed.
There will be some light housekeeping- run a vacuum, mop, dishes, wipe off counter, meal prep.
You have lots of time to relax and interact with the clients-TV, games, puzzles, crafts, socialize, etc.
This is not a high pressure or stressful job at all.
The times I need someone will be flexible, one or two days a week at various times.
Like an evening here and there or a weekend day.
One of the main things I need is someone who can stay at my home with the clients when I travel- maybe 4 or 5 times a year for about a week at a time.
You would know in advance of the dates.
This is a very important part of the job.
( They go to a day program 4 days a week so you wouldn't be required to be here all the time during those days.
)
What I need from you-
*Must ALREADY have *fingerprint clearance card*,
* Live on or close to the East side,
*CPR/First Aid card or be willing to take the class.
*TB test
*Current Physical
*Take some online training from the Agency I work with, very minimal worksheets.
Ideal person would be a female with a flexible schedule, like a retired person who would like some company now and then.
Have own car.
Be dependable, prompt, easy going, trustworthy and kind.
Must like dogs, I have two sweet adult labradors.
I will pay an hourly cash rate.
This is a long-term position.
