About the company
Our client is a early stage start up who has built a product for product-focused teams.
You can use our client's product for fine-tuning and monitoring services to decrease the cost and latency of your LLM operations.
You can use their product to collect and analyze LLM logs, create fine-tuned models, and compare output from multiple models given the same input.
Tiny startups to large companies that are using their models in production successfully already.
About the role
You'll be joining as one of their first hires with a significant equity stake.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership over major features that are critical to our continued success, like designing our on-premise deployment solution and refactoring our stack to increase reliability and decrease latency for the tens of millions of requests we serve daily in production.
You do not have to have any prior experience developing AI systems.
You do need to be comfortable with wearing both engineering and product hats, going all the way from discussing potential features with users to implementing them on the back-end, and even the front-end when necessary.

What you'll do
Build high-quality software using TypeScript and Python
Solve infrastructure and deployment challenges and ensure our systems are well-architected and robust
Provide strong leadership and take ownership of projects across the stack
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges to make our application more robust, highly-available and performant
Design/spec new functionality in collaboration with customers and the rest of the team
What we're seeking
3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python
A strong understanding of systems architecture and best practices
Capable and excited about taking on a broad range of tasks
A proven self-starter able to identify needs and meet them (this is a great role for someone who wants to start a company in the future!)
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Salary Range: $150,000-$250,000 base.
Location: In-person in Bellevue, WA.
