Position Highlights The successful candidate will work with a team of undergraduate students, graduate students, and other postdoctoral associates to develop solutions for a digital engineering factory that will be implemented as part of the Systems & Industrial and Software Engineering curricula.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct research in the areas of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), digital engineering, and digital thread.
Produce journal and conference papers.
Present research results at conferences.
Contribute and/or support the preparation of research proposals.
Contribute to mentoring doctoral students.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to implement Digital Engineering solutions: connect heterogeneous models across different tools.
Ability to independently write journal publications.
Knowledge of coding.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.
D.
in systems engineering, software engineering, or related field.
The selected candidate must have a conferred Ph.
D.
upon hire.
A track record of journal publications.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of industry experience in Systems & Industrial or Software Engineering.
Experience in writing research proposals.
