Finish Hooking up Receiver (Rita Ranch)

My Marantz took a dump and I decided to buy a cheap new receiver rather than Fox it twice.
I used to do it all and for others as well but these days I simply get frustrated.
I attempted to hook it up but am getting nowhere fastu.
That's where you come in - figure out why and finish setup.
It's a Sony receiver and every time I attempt to calibrate, it hours into protect mode and shuts off at the front right speaker.
I've gotten the tuner to play, however it goes into protect and shuts off after less than 10 seconds Is it possible my high end Bowers & Willkins speakers are simply too much for this unit? I'm looking for someone to help right now.

I hire a lot and am quite tired of the guys all the way across town who either no show or come up with some reason (some actually list the drive) why they suddenly can't perform the gig.
