You will be working closely with a team of mechanical and electrical designers, sales personnel, manufacturing and our Customer.

*Job Description*
* Use AutoCAD to generate electrical schematics, panel and door Layouts of custom machinery.
* Maintain current knowledge of electrical controls design aspects based on industrial design and compliant with UL508A and NFPA70.
* Participate in product and equipment design reviews to determine the scope of design , that maximizes the functionality and reduces cost.
* Seek and apply necessary information for proper use of specified components.
* Support design efforts to assist in meeting schedule and budget for projects.
* Review the dimensional and design data from suppliers.
* The process of developing equipment design will involve PLC and HMI programming.
* Interpret P & ID, process flows, specifications and other system design documentation.
* Open communication with the customer is typical and a regular part of the role.
*The Preferred Candidate will live in the area and possess:*
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Detailed knowledge of industrial control systems, motor control, and field instrumentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Ability to review drawings and datasheets produced by other disciplines to assure the interface is correct.
* Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to provide accurate project directions and status updates.
* Some field work at customer locations where travel will be required.
* Experience working on the manufacturing floor is a plus

* 8 hour shift (overtime may be required)
