” Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as the Executive Chef at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Innovation Building's brand-new Café Bolo, with the world-renowned Wolfgang Puck Catering.
This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of an exciting culinary adventure! As our Executive Chef, you'll lead the charge in delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
Your responsibilities will include being responsible for kitchen operations, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards, and leading all aspects of catering services for events.

Key Responsibilities: Create and modify menus in line with established guidelines.
Ensure standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards are met.
Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, equipment operation, and sanitation.
Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
Manage food and non-food supplies inventory.
Make informed decisions regarding leftover food products.
Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
Uphold safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications: A.
S.
or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
Extensive catering experience is a plus.
High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
Institutional and batch cooking experiences.
Hands-on chef experience is a must.
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
