Job Summary
Back Server at Hacienda Del Sol Resort is an hourly, part-time restaurant position.
This individual contributor position is responsible for providing assistance to the Front Server.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous service and follow established Hacienda Del Sol Resort service standards
Assist with set-up, breakdown, and cleaning of dining areas
Provides prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service, including pouring water, clearing plates, placing flatware, changing tables.
Satisfactorily performs, as directed, all routine opening and closing side duties, folding napkins, and stocking and setting up for appropriate meal service.
Operate food runners and other back-of-house duties as needed
Communicate orders to restaurant cooks ensuring accuracy and timely service
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant space
Maintain safety and sanitation standards and procedures
Properly store food items and maintain food safety protocols.
Requirements
Must have excellent presentation skills, and meet established appearance standards
Previous restaurant experience is a plus
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Must have good organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Flexible schedule and ability to work extended hours
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
