The evaporative cooler is a Champion side draft model rated at 3000 CFM (suitable for cooling a 1000 sq ft space).
The cooler was acquired used in 2019 and refurbished before it was put into service.
It was installed to cool a 200 square-foot exercise room, but proved to be excessive in its cooling impact for the small room and it was replaced by a smaller portable evaporative cooler, and therefore it was only used less than eight hours in total, subsequent to it having been refurbished with extensive new parts.

The cooler functions very well.
It runs smoothly as the rotary fan is well-balanced.
The water tray does not leak and the water pump and distribution assembly for the pads works well.
Given that the cooler has been overhauled with new parts that had very little service demand, the cooler is in excellent reliable operating condition and will deliver a long service life .
The coolor is relatively energy efficient in that it draws approximately 350 W when running on low speed (the motor has two speeds) .
The cooling pads are in good condition and do not need to be replaced as they had very little use.
