This is a German made Octave 40 SE integrated stereo tube amp with the extra X4 power booster, which provides 160 watts per channel of beautiful, warm, tube sound.
Comes with two extra sets of tubes.
However, the tubes on the system have under 100 hours of use on them.
The system originally was $5,800 for the Amp and $1900 for the booster.
Comes with a $375 Nordost power cord and a $400 Project turntable preamp new in the box and never used.
The only reason I'm selling it as I've gone !00% McIntosh in my system.
Otherwise, it wouldn't be going.
The sound is incredible.
I purchased this unit, new, from Hansen Audio in Kettering, Ohio, prior to moving out to Tucson, basically because Tucson is a dead hole for high end audiophile equipment.
