Victorian Eastlake style loveseat/settee, nice condition, tufted, blue velvet, reupholstered some time in the past.
Tight joints.
Light finish over oak (?).
Several small burl walnut inlays for decoration.
Carvings good.
Brass upholstery nail still shiny.
This piece has wheels, also in good condition.
A single chair, possibly older or possibly the same age.
Appears to have been craftsman-built, not machine made.
Nice carvings and spindles.
Tight joints, seat reupholstered.
Double-curved legs.
“IXII” carved into the back frame member, but much simpler in design than most Louie furniture.
In one Wisconsin family for multiple generations, now in Green Valley, AZ.
This is real nice furniture.
